Our Current Investment Opportunity We are currently pursuing the development potential for a parcel of land in prestigious Balsall Common, in the West Midlands. If our proposals are accepted by Planning, it will make this piece of land an extremely rare and valuable site, either to ourselves to develop, or simply to resell to a major developer. One way or another, this is an Investment Opportunity well worth you enquiring about.
Information on Balsall Common Balsall Common is a large village and one of the larger rural settlements in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull. It is superbly located, 7 miles west of Coventry and 13 miles to the east of Birmingham, making it an ideal commuter village. The Village is of recent origin, most of the homes and shops were built in the Twentieth Century. The village previously consisted of a couple of hamlets with a scattering of houses in each. 1838 saw the opening of the London to Birmingham railway line, with trains passing through where the nearby Berkswell Station is today. The station itself was not built until 1853 and Balsall Common did not appear to grow because of the railway line being built. The 1930’s saw some development which linked the isolated buildings but it was not until after World War II that Balsall Common really began to expand and grow into the very large village it is today. Since the late 1990’s plans for larger developments of new housing and larger supermarkets have been circumvented. Balsall Common situated at the heart of the West Midands green belt area (known as the Meriden Gap) between Solihull and Coventry, is subject to strict planning regulations, therefore its residents have not witnessed rapid growth, given its location. Balsall Common Village in the “Heart of England” is well known for its excellent schools and friendly village life and holds a reputation for being a very affluent area. Balsall Common also benefits from a fantastic infrastructure: Birmingham International Airport & Railway Station, Birmingham NEC and the well structured motorway network that includes the M6, M40 & M42, all a short distance away. Due to its location Balsall Common is a very desirable and sought after place to live and is considered to be one of the most prosperous communities in the West Midlands. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
